We have a seasonal Bear problem and you must keep the trash carts inside the garage except during pickup days! Please note that trash is picked up on Mondays and Thursdays before noon and there is one green recyclable and one standard trash cart. Containers do not need to be taken up to the road; trash service will pick them up outside of the garage. Please store these containers inside of the garage when they are not out to be emptied. For additional trash service call 970-471-5910. Kindly have all trash carts placed outside the garage for pickup.

Heated Garage & Crazy Chipmonks
Heated Garage & Crazy Chipmonks

Please keep in mind the garage is heated. To maintain the proper heating in the house and garage, kindly make sure the doors remain closed when not in use.  We also have very aggressive chipmunks that try to get in the garage/house so please be mindful to close the door to the house as well as the garage door. A “ping pong” table is also located in the garage. Please do not park in the garage stall that contains the ping pong table and do not raise/lower or move the table.

A close-up shot of a modern thermostat on a wall, showcasing a sleek design with a digital display indicating a temperature setting. The background should be softly blurred, emphasizing the thermostat while hinting at a cozy lodge interior. The color palette should harmonize with a warm, inviting atmosphere, incorporating soft tones compatible with #EBD1B6, such as light beige and warm whites.
Climate control
Experience optimal comfort with our advanced heating system.
At Lodge At Timberline, we prioritize your comfort with our state-of-the-art climate control system. Our lodge is heated by an efficient boiler system that circulates fluid through a piping network embedded in the floors. Strategic placement of thermostats ensures a balanced temperature throughout. We recommend guests maintain the temperature at a comfortable 65 degrees, as adjustments can disrupt the system's equilibrium and take 1-2 days to stabilize. For ultimate relaxation, feel free to utilize the fireplaces or adjust windows as needed, creating the perfect ambiance during your stay.

A/V Equipment

Watch TV or stream from your personal account!

Caution .... To avoid loss of damage deposit, please advise all guests (especially children and teenagers) to not adjust or disconnect/connect any of the A/V equipment. All operations of TVs is accomplished with their respective remotes!!! Please understand that we have taken great effort in providing you with a very simple “remote” system that is already preset and adjusted for the best listening and video pleasure. The programmed remote in the Media Room must be pointed at the A/V equipment and the key strokes must be slower than normal to give them time to process. In the media room you may watch TV or access your favorite personal streaming channel. Do not try to install any other “guest” equipment, or move any of the existing equipment!! Also, PLEASE do not move any of the furniture from their approximate locations.

A close-up shot of a modern laptop open on a wooden table, displaying a WiFi connection screen, with a cozy lodge interior in the background. The lighting is warm and inviting, emphasizing the rustic charm of the lodge. The focus is sharp on the laptop while softly blurring the background to create depth. The scene should convey a sense of comfort and connectivity in a mountain setting, harmonizing with the primary color #EBD1B6.
Internet
Stay connected with our wireless internet service, though we recommend your own hotspot for reliability.
At Lodge At Timberline, we provide our guests with wireless internet access, allowing you to stay connected during your stay. However, please be advised that due to the unique mountain environment, intermittent interference and occasional power surges may affect service quality. To ensure a seamless online experience, we highly recommend that guests bring their own hotspot. Our wireless network, Timberline, is available with the password 9709682569 and the PIN 60271723. You can find all login and pass code information conveniently located in the study on the main level.

Hot Tub

The hot tub is professionally maintained every 3-4 days.  Our maintenance crew receives seasonal guest schedules and does their best to maintain the hot tub in between guest stays; however if you make a reservation after Thanksgiving (for ski season) and after June 10 (for summer season) there is a possibility our crew will need to maintain the hot tub during your stay.  Please kindly allow them to do so. Please use caution while adjusting its controls. Briefly “press and release” the controls. Do not “press and hold”!! This will cause it to reset to a program mode and will shut down the hot tub’s functions. A service tech will then be required for re-programming. If you have excessive use and feel the need for additional services kindly contact us. Also, please make sure the hot tub cover is securely reattached after each usage as we frequently get high gusts of wind that can destroy it.

Hot Tub Cover Instructions ... ** ADULTS ONLY to uncover/cover hot tub 1) Make sure all four straps are unclipped along with any wind/security strap, 2) Flip one half of cover (please have TWO ADULTS do this), 3) Step in Spa, 4) Grab from center of cover and push up and back, 5) hold center of cover and GENTLY let cover stand vertically on cover lifter bar ( ** PLEASE DON’T LET COVER SLAM BACKWARDS as this will break the lifter) 6) Enjoy! (Please NO GLASS in the hot tub) Just as in any pool please do not leave children unattended.

Great Room Fireplace - Relighting the Pilot
Great Room Fireplace - Relighting the Pilot

Due to occasional high winds the pilot light in the great room fireplace periodically goes out. It is very easy to relight. Relighting the pilot is similar to relighting the pilot on an old hot water heater. You will need use a handheld lighter (check next to the fireplace or in the kitchen).

Inside the fireplace to the right of the logs you will see a knob. Turn the knob to the "off" position. Now turn the knob to the "pilot" position and hold it in. Light the pilot with the handheld lighter. Continue holding the pilot knob in for 30-60 seconds. Once the flame holds the light turn the knob to the "on" position.
