A few more details...

Climate Control ... Our lodge is heated by a boiler system that circulates fluid through a piping system in the floors. Thermostats are strategically placed throughout the home. However, we ask that you instruct your guests to not adjust above 65 degrees as they are already set to an optimum level. Be aware, if adjustments/changes are made, it takes 1- 2 days for the home to “re-stabilize”. For optimum comfort, turn on/off fireplaces and/or open/close windows as necessary.

Fireplaces... Due to extended periods between usages, some of the fireplaces will not immediately light. If that occurs, turn switch off after about 10 seconds and try again. Sometimes you may have to continue cycling this switch for as long as 10 minutes to purge the system before it will light. Also, listen for a clicking of the ignitor while the pilot is trying to light. Continue to do this until it lights. On a few rare occasions the 9 volt battery that operates the ignitor may need replacing. (call for instructions) Be sure to turn off all fireplaces when not in the room.

Upon check out... Kindly return all remotes to the appropriate rooms, lock all doors (except house to garage), close all windows and please make sure all lights are off, thermostats set as placarded and that the garage door is fully closed. Also, we would greatly appreciate if you would strip all beds (leave in room), empty the refrigerator, stack all towels in bathrooms, and load/start the dishwashers. “Check out” is 11:00 a.m. unless other arrangements have been made. In the event of “back to back” guests that will be arriving on the same day... the cleaning crew may arrive as early as 9am on the day of your departure and the “check in” time may be moved to 4:30pm. Your patience and understanding would be greatly appreciated. Disrespectful guests that leave unusual debri and cause excessive cleaning as determined by the cleaning crew will be charge excess cleaning and damage fees. Please text Adrienne upon your departure at 720.289.8829

No keys are provided. Access codes will be provided in your Welcome Letter which you will receive approximately 2 days prior to your arrival.

Please note the beautiful wine room. Many of our guests have signed their empty bottles with a date and message. Feel free to do the same and look over our many interesting visitor comments. A rinsed bottle and cork would be appreciated.
